Dance Workshop for Kids with Binmaga
About this Event
Formed in 2021 and hailing from Mullewa, this year’s guest dance group Binmaga is driven by a desire to promote Yamatji country and share Yamatji Culture in a fun and engaging way. This workshop is aimed at children and will encourage them to look at the landscape and create their own movement, working it into a performance over the course of the workshop. The Binmaga dancers will incorporate traditional Yamatji songs and storytelling, using boomerang and tap sticks to provide a soundscape.
