About this Event
Binmaga Cultural Experience is a 100% Aboriginal owned and opertated business and represents the combined talents and passions of, Candice Dia and Preston Wall. Driven by a desire to share Yamaji Culture and promote their Yamaji country, the couple formed Binmaga in 2021 after recognising a gap in the local cultural tourism industry, with no on-country cultural experiences in the Midwest Region.
Candice and Preston hope to turn that around and showcase local culture through tourism and performance.

Candice Dia is a proud Yamaji , Wongi & Nyul Nyul Woman and lives in the Midwest Region of WA.. She studied at WAAPA through the Aboriginal Theatre Program in 2009. Candice has performed in many local and regional events with former dance group Pundara where she co-founded the group. She now is a dance choreographer , dance mentor and dancer with BINMAGA Dance and loves sharing her beautiful culture through the arts.
Preston Wall is a Yamaji Nyungar Man from Mid west region of WA who is passionate about the youth, culture, his country and making positive changes. Preston has lived most his life in and around the Midwest and Perth and is a proud Yamaji Nyungar Man who is passionate about learning, reviving and teaching his culture through all forms of sports and art.
Binmaga Dance was recently awarded Active Citizenship of the year 2025 from City of Greater Geraldton.
